The nonprofit Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society will present “Orchid Magic:” 66th Annual Orchid Show & Sale, with dozens of vendors at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Blvd., Pembroke Pines. Admission is $15 available at FLOS.org soon. Parking is free.
The Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society’s annual show and sale is recognized as one of the largest and best juried orchid shows in the country. This highly anticipated show is filled with breathtaking orchid exhibits, exotic orchids and related items available for purchase. There also will be free orchid educational classes to help your plants thrive.
Our amazing show and sale will feature thousands of rare blooms from around the world along with stunning displays at the Dodge City Center. This spacious state-of-the-art venue has loads of free parking and a covered area for drop off and pick up.
This well-attended show will include a gathering of thousands of orchid enthusiasts, hobbyists, award-winning growers and hybridizers from around world. Growers will exhibit and sell thousands of orchids of every variety at this breathtaking public event. Vendors will create artistically designed exhibits following the theme “Orchid Magic” Orchid gift items, books, educational materials and orchid supplies also will be available for purchase. Society members will be on hand to answer orchid growing questions. Hourly prize drawings will add to the excitement. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Individual plant entries will be exhibited, along with displays from local orchid societies. Judges from the American Orchid Society will judge plants and exhibits, awarding ribbons and cash prizes. There also will be art displays from area elementary schools and a conservation booth as part of the societies mission to restore native orchids in South Florida in partnership with Fairchild Botanic Garden’s Million Orchids Project.

The Ft. Lauderdale Orchid Society invites all orchid enthusiasts to participate in the prestigious orchid judging event at the 2026 “Orchid Magic” show, featuring expert judging by the West Palm Beach Judging Center of the American Orchid Society (AOS). This means hobbyists could potentially collect up to $2,000 in cash prizes spread over 20 categories please check the next page for details! So, bring your plants. They can be brought to the Dodge Center on Thursday 1/8 from 3-7 PM and can be retrieved at the closing on Sunday at 4 pm.
Whether you’re a seasoned grower or a passionate hobbyist, bring your best orchids to showcase their beauty and compete for exciting cash prizes!

2026 Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society Show Awards and Prizes
All exhibits and hobby plants will be viewed by American Orchid Society (AOS) judges for awards.
1. The AOS Show Award may be awarded by AOS judges to the most meritorious Commercial exhibit, regardless of class. (signed by each head judge of each team)
2. A $50 award may be awarded to the most outstanding exhibit of orchids regardless of class, judged solely on artistic merit (Hobbyist or Commercial).
3. A $200 award may be given to the Grand Champion Flower (Commercial exhibits) in show.
4. A $200 award may be given to the Grand Champion Flower (Hobbyist) in show.
5. A $100 award may be given to a FLOS Hobbyist member for the best quality flower from any genus
6. A $100 award may be given to the best species or hybrid Cattleya flower 10 cm (4”) or larger. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
7. A $100 award may be given to the best species or hybrid Cattleya flower smaller than 10 cm (4”). (Hobbyist or Commercial).
8. A $100 award may be given to the best species or hybrid Vanda flower (including syn. Ascocentrum),
7 cm (2.75”) or larger. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
9. A $100 award may be given to the best species or hybrid Vanda flower (including syn. Ascocentrum), smaller than 7 cm (2.75”). (Hobbyist or Commercial).
10. A $100 award may be given to the best Phalaenopsis species or hybrid 7 cm (2.75”) or larger. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
11. A $100 award may be given to the best Phalaenopsis species or hybrid smaller than 7 cm (2.75”). (Hobbyist or Commercial).
12. A $100 award may be given to the best species or hybrid flower in the Vanda alliance other than Vanda, (including syn. Ascocentrum) or Phalaenopsis. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
13. A $100 award may be given to the best Oncidinae species or hybrid. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
14. A $100 award may be given to the best Epidendrum, Encyclia or Prosthechea species or hybrid. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
15. A $100 award may be given to the best Dendrobium species or hybrid. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
16. A $100 award may be given to the best Bulbophyllum species or hybrid. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
17. A $100 award may be given to the best Brassavola species or hybrid. (Hobbyist or Commercial).
18. A $100 award may be given to the best Paphiopedilum species or hybrid (Hobbyist or Commercial).
19. A $100 award may be given to the best specimen plant in the show (any genus). (Hobbyist or Commercial) (signed by each head judge of each team)
20. A $100 award may be given to the best Miscellaneous genus orchid (Hobbyist or Commercial).
21. A $100 award may be given to the best Educational Exhibit display in show
22. The Oliver C. Munson Award ($50) may be awarded to the best Vanda species or hybrid entered by a Hobby grower.
