Membership costs $20 per year. Come to any meeting and fill out an application.
Members enjoy many benefits:
- USPS delivery of the Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society Newsletter. This is an eight page letter lovingly constructed each month by Dot Henley. You are guaranteed to learn something new every month!
- Monthly meetings where you socialize with other orchid lovers while enjoying a presentation, snacks, and orchid judging.
- Welcome packet
- Free loans of books from our library
Other activities in which you may choose to partake:
- day rambles to area nurseries
- overnight rambles around Florida
- members’ rambles to other members’ homes
- raffles at meetings
- selling tickets for our Annual Show
- volunteering for our Annual Show
- making goodies for our snack table
- showing off your blooming orchids at meetings
- donating to or buying plants at our annual auction
